About Mexican Candies
Today's topic is about Mexican candies.
Mexican candies, also known as dulces Mexicanos, are a very popular and sweet treat in Mexico and throughout Latin American history. This candy comes in a variety of flavors and textures, which make it a great choice for everyone to try! Lots of popular Mexican candies may have tajin or chamoy sauce. Tajin is a Mexican seasoning made out of dried chilies, sea salt, and dehydrated lime juice. It adds a zingy flavor to fresh produce, popcorn, avocado toast and more. Lots of people like to put tajin or their fruit or on spicy chips such as Takis, Hot Cheetos, or even Hot Fries. Chamoy sauce is a saucy condiment made of dried chilies, lime juices, and fruit. It's usually made with mango, apricot, or plum.
Mexican candies have become very popular in the U.S. as well. You may have heard or even tasted many of them without knowing. One popular candy is referred to De La Rosa Mazapan. It is a traditional candy made from crushed peanuts and sugar, shaped into a circle.
Another common candy is actually a watermelon or mango flavored lollipop known as Rebanaditas. Rabanaditas is a lollipop covered in chili powder and salt. They are very delicious, and I suggest you try them one day! You may thing this candy is spicy since it's coated in chili powder but it's actually a sweet treat.
In conclusion, lots of Mexican candies have become popular in the U.S. You can try these candies by either visiting your local grocery store or a gas-station near you. You can even order them online, but I encourage everyone to try them out, even if you don't like trying new things.
